Carol Goodstein has more than 20 years of experience in sustainability communications.
Prior to establishing her own consulting firm, she served as the Director of Communications & Marketing for the Rainforest Alliance, where she spearheaded the development of innovative campaigns, content and collateral that helped to make the global organization a boardroom and household name.
From the viral Follow the Frog video (5 million plus views), which was hailed as a paradigm-shifter in nonprofit communications, to global advocacy and a branded content campaign in collaboration with The Guardian, to promotional partnerships with Lipton, Whole Foods Market, Staples and McDonald’s, she’s been instrumental in making sustainability accessible and actionable.
Drawing on her extensive knowledge and experience in sustainability-related issues —including climate change, biodiversity loss, overtourism, community development—she’s able to engage a range of audiences—including consumers, donors, investors, community stakeholders, NGOs, government representatives.
